Scarlett Johansson recently expressed support for Woody Allen in an interview, which did not sit well with his daughter Dylan Farrow who criticized Johansson on social media. In light of the controversy, the 34-year-old actress was seen at JFK airport in New York City on Friday trying to stay under the radar with a hat and sunglasses, looking down as she made her way through the airport.
Caught in the act: Actress Scarlet Johansson, aged 34, was seen attempting to blend in as she strolled through John F. Kennedy airport in the Big Apple last Friday.
The actress from Avengers: Endgame sported an orange jumpsuit paired with a light blue jacket. She kept it laid-back with white Converse shoes while pulling a black luggage behind her. Johansson added a touch of glamour with multiple gold necklaces and a bracelet.
Walking through the city, the blonde made a conscious effort to keep her gaze directed downwards, hoping to go unnoticed. Scarlett couldn’t help but chuckle at a man walking beside her. In addition, a companion with a red-orange umbrella was already open, ready for their outdoor excursion.
Following a recent interview, the actress headed to New York City where she expressed her disbelief in the allegations against Woody Allen regarding the sexual abuse of his adopted daughter in the 1990s. Johansson, who has appeared in three of Allen’s films, shared her support for the director by stating, ‘I love Woody. I believe him, and I would work with him anytime’. The accusations were made by Dylan Farrow back in 1992, claiming that Allen had sexually abused her at the Connecticut home she shared with her mother, Mia Farrow.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Scarlett shared her support for Woody Allen, despite the allegations made by Dylan Farrow when she was just seven years old. A court case in 1993 did not find sufficient evidence of the abuse, and Allen has always maintained his innocence. Dylan, however, continues to stand by her accusations and penned an open letter in The New York Times in 2014. Despite the controversy, Scarlett has no regrets about her collaborations with Allen on movies like Match Point, Scoop, and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Up next, fans can catch Scarlett in Jojo Rabbit alongside Rebel Wilson and Sam Rockwell, and then in Black Widow with Rachel Weisz. She will also be lending her voice to Sing 2, an animated children’s movie. Scarlett is a proud mother to her five-year-old daughter, Rose, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Romain Dauriac. In the past, she was also married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
