How a New Mama Pup Treks 3km Daily to Feed Her Adorable Pups

A dog used to walk three kilometers daily to find food for her ten puppies. However, she has now been rescued and soon her puppies will have a permanent home. Locals in Fowler, Fresno, California, noticed a newborn dog walking two miles a day to search for food for her cubs.

Krytle Woodward, the founder of the Pinky Paws Rescue center for animals, discovered that a dog was roaming the area in search of food for her puppies. This was almost two months ago but no one was able to catch her until last Thursday when Krytle changed the lives of a loyal dog named Betty Boop and her puppies.

Krystle recounted a surprising encounter with Betty Boop during her work break. Betty Boop ran away when Krystle found her. Krystle’s husband chased after the truck to pick up Betty Boop and save her during Krystle’s lunch break on Thursday. Newborn puppies walk 3 kilometers a day to feed their babies for three to four weeks. In the past, more than 30 people have seen him feeding his children on the outskirts of town miles away.

The doctor has confirmed that she is not infected and is able to breastfeed her baby. However, she can’t help but think about all the other babies out there. On the sixth day, Betty Boop managed to escape by climbing over the fence. She is doing everything in her power to return to her puppies. Krystle has started her search for Betty Boop’s missing puppy.

The puppies were discovered in the basement of an abandoned house. Kenneth Stoan, a student from elementary school, was asked by Krystle’s friend’s son to help rescue the puppies from the basement. Quick action is crucial in saving animals because a threatened animal is often associated with an emergency. When they stumbled upon an abandoned one in the middle of a rainy day in Venezuela, the Fundación JR Rescata crew rescued it. Before volunteers arrived to try to save her, she was helpless and desperate for hours. The dog seemed to have been dragged across the ground all the way, completely drenched, with wounds, torn and legs covered in mud on the harsh morning.
