On Christmas Eve 22, a woman named Mam Nata found herself deserted in front of the International Association for Pregnant Assistance (IAPA). At the time, she was approximately 8 weeks pregnant and on the verge of giving birth.
When Instituto Amor em Patas (IAPA) discovered her, she was in a feeble state, unable to stand and extremely terrified. It took some time for the volunteers to reassure her and alleviate her fears. Sadly, her owner had abandoned her due to her overwhelming anxiety about the imminent arrival of her puppies.
Upon encountering the shelter volunteers for the first time, she exhibited a strong defense mechanism, expending all her strength to prevent them from getting too close to her – all in an effort to safeguard her role as a mother. However, as time went on, she gradually let down her guard and began to display a more sociable demeanor.
“Wow, just take a look at her tummy – she might be carrying around 13 or 14 little ones in there. We’re aiming to get her tested tomorrow since she seems to be a bit fragile.” Shared one of the compassionate volunteers.
“Natajuli is in for a marathon night tonight, as are we. We need to get ready for her ultrasound to make sure everything is going smoothly.”
Natajuli is given permission to go back to the shelter with the necessary assistance for delivering the babies, and she triumphs – the first baby is a lively and intelligent little boy.
“Would you believe it if I told you that there are a whopping total of 14 delightful puppies in Natajuli’s litter? That’s right, this supermom recently gave birth to a lovely bunch of 14 furballs!”
Accompanied by her precious brood, Natajuli made a visit to the veterinarian for a quick check-up, where they underwent ultrasounds and blood tests. The proud mama looked a little flushed, perhaps from the excitement of motherhood. Meanwhile, her chubby little pups seem to be thriving, boasting impressive weights and bursting with cuteness.
Witnessing this heartwarming scene, it was hard not to be overwhelmed with emotion. Thoughts of wanting to shower these adorable babies with kisses flooded my mind, as I couldn’t help but feel sheer happiness seeing Natajuli and her little ones smiling together.”
“I completely blanked on giving them names, those 14 adorable little ones. Naming them is proving to be quite a challenge. If you enjoy naming things, I would love to hear your suggestions in the comments! Let’s find the perfect names for them together!”
