When witnessing the unfortunate situation of neglected stray dogs, it’s hard not to feel emotional. Nevertheless, not all mother dogs exhibit the same level of bravery, resilience, and devotion towards their offspring as Si Bao.
This dog was left behind by its owner and suffered a terrible fate when it got its hind legs crushed by a train. Si Bao’s situation seemed hopeless until she gave birth to four beautiful and healthy puppies. They became the reason for this struggling mother dog to keep going and find purpose in life.
Si Bao found renewed joy in life after becoming a mother and was determined to remain strong and resilient for her children. She walked on two legs, always keeping a close eye on them.
Si Bao, the mother dog who was once struggling to survive on scraps of food along train tracks, has been fortunate enough to be rescued by the nonprofit organization Animals Asia. Thanks to the efforts of this organization, Si Bao and her family have been saved and she has even become an animal ambassador. She has been relocated to the organization’s headquarters where she can start a new life with her surviving pup, Muddie. Her name has also been changed to Lelly, and the organization is planning to provide her with wheeled prosthetic legs to improve her mobility. Although three of Lelly’s pups passed away due to high fever, Muddie remains by her side as they both embark on a new journey of hope and recovery.
Lelly is currently enjoying a luxurious life as an ambassador for animals in Asia. Despite her small size, she displays unwavering resilience and strength in the face of challenges.
