We were completely smitten when we chanced upon this adorable creature and couldn’t help but share his photographs with everyone. Our infatuation over him is palpable! Meet Fen Fen, a delightful cat belonging to the Exotic Shorthair breed. Despite having short, dense hair, he boasts of a Persian-like body structure and facial features, with a coat that’s easier to maintain. Fen Fen’s claim to fame are his full, round cheeks which has captured the hearts of countless netizens worldwide. After conducting extensive research, we discovered that Fen Fen resides at the Pink Pig Cattery in Shanghai.
It seems as though his facial hair was removed in order to give him the appearance of having chubby cheeks. Despite this, we choose to believe that it’s simply magic and there’s no arguing with his adorable and fluffy presence. We all fell in love with him and couldn’t stop admiring his cute pictures. Although it never crossed our minds before, we find the idea of shaving a cat’s face to look like a round squirrel quite charming!
It’s hard not to love a big, fluffy cat. They are just so cuddly! But as much as we adore them, we know that an overweight cat is not a healthy cat. While a chubby kitty like Fen Fen might look cute, obesity can lead to serious health issues, including diabetes, skin problems, and joint pain. We hope that Fen Fen’s owner takes good care of him to ensure he stays happy and healthy for years to come.
Taking a more lighthearted approach, it’s been said that exotic shorthairs possess the same serene grace as Persian cats, but with a playful streak that makes them enjoy spending time with their humans even more!
